Burnley Canal Festival 2017

Burnley Canal Festival at Burnley Wharf in the Weavers' Triangle.

Over the weekend of 26th-27th August there will be colourful boats, craft and food stalls, fun and free entertainment for all the family. The Visitor Centre will have specially extended opening times and craft demonstrations.

Padiham Photographic Society

April - October 2017

For 2017, the Weavers’ Triangle is showcasing some of the best images taken by members of the Padiham Photographic Society.

The diverse subjects photographed include landscapes, natural history, people and creative compositions.

Padiham's History Comes To Life

April - September 2017

Photographs and memorabilia from the Padiham Archives will be on display at the Visitor Centre throughout the season.

Including features such as the town’s Whit Walks, celebrations, notable characters and highlights of some of its streets, visitors will be able to peek into the past of over 100 years.

A variety of artefacts, donated by residents past and present, will also be on display.

Guided Walks 2017

Guided towpath walk by the canal in Burnley, Weavers' Triangle

There will be a guided towpath walks through the Weavers' Triangle on:

Sunday 30th April
Sunday 10th September

The walks commence at 2.15pm from the Weavers' Triangle Visitor Centre and finish with a visit to the engine house at Oak Mount Mill.
